LignaTerra Global Will Open CLT Facility in Maine

North Carolina-based CLT manufacturer LignaTerra Global plans to invest $31 million into opening a new factory in Lincoln, Maine. The company will build a 300,000 square-foot facility on the plot of a former paper and tissue mill, the Bangor Daily News reports. LignaTerra Global views Maine as an “ideal location” for value-added timber products due to its proximity to forests and the high demand for building materials in the northeastern market.
