A wooden deck

Dear Readers:

Recently approved revisions to the American Wood Products Association's standards for preservative-treated lumber used in decking have prompted construction supply companies nationwide to review what they sell. In particular, we're hearing reports that dealers are making decisions regarding whether to stock wood that's been rated for above-ground use. With this anonymous survey, we'd like to know where things stand at your company.

Go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ProSales_Decking_Poll and take our one-minute, eight-question survey in which you can tell what your plans are for stocking above-ground-treated decking lumber at your facility. Note that we won't ask you to provide any identifying information beyond the state where your company is located, but if you want to stand by your comments, you can tell us in the final comment box who you are.

We'll keep this survey live for about a week and will report the results online and in ProSales Business Update. Thanks.
