Builders FirstSource 1Q Loss Doubles To $30.6 Million

Builders FirstSource, the Dallas-based and top 10 ProSales 100 dealer, reported a first quarter net loss of $30.6 million compared to a net loss of $15.8 million during the same period a year ago. It also reported that for the three-month period ended March 31, sales fell 37% to $163.8 million in comparison to 1Q '08 sales of $259.9 million. More

BFS Posts $139.5 Million Net Loss for '08

Builders FirstSource reported a net loss of $139.5 million in 2008 on a 32.4% drop in sales to $1.04 billion. The net loss for the fourth quarter alone nearly tripled from the previous year to total $58.9 million on a 30.6% decline in sales to $201.3 million. More
