ProBuild is closing its Sheboygan, Wis., facility effect Dec. 31, the company confirmed. That's the same date that General Lumber will close its yard in Milwaukee. In addition, Jim and Dave's Building Supply in West Bend closed on Nov. 30. More

ProBuild, which just 12 months ago acquired Big Buck Building Centers in Racine, Wis., gave notice to the state of Wisconsin that it will close the operation effective Sept. 20. ProBuild Holdings announced Tuesday it has purchased Big Buick Building Centers of Racine, Wis. The deal brings ProBuild a lumberyard, truss production and millwork facility that can serve the Chicago and Milwaukee markets. More
