Rob Robillard (of a Concord Carpenter and Toolbox Buzz) is the first contractor in North America to get a look at Milwaukee's newest cordless tool: a 8-1/4" table saw that weighs about 40 pounds. He put the saw to the test on a few jobsites covering a variety of tasks, including framing and finish tasks. There are some features that Robillard really likes, including the one-wrench blade change, the blade height adjustment, and its riving knife design. Dust collection, cutting capacity, and portability also impressed him. The saw runs on Milwaukee's latest addition to the M18 battery platform: a 12Ah battery that is featured in a few of its latest tool offerings. How does the 12Ah battery, and the saw, stand up against DeWalt's 60V Max FlexVolt table saw? The results may surprise you.
