Marvin has unveiled the next phase of its Marvin Modern collection with new Casement and Awning window products, available as of May 2019. This follows the debut of Marvin Modern in late 2018, and the launch of the matching Direct Glaze Window and Multi-Slide Door.

The Casement and Awning windows are available in a choice of crank-out or push-out movement styles. The crank-out and push-out Casement windows are available in sizes up to approximately 3 feet wide and 9 feet tall. The crank-out Awning window is available in sizes up to 8 feet wide and 8 feet tall, while the push-out awning can measure up to 4 feet wide and 8 feet tall.

All Marvin Modern products are distinguished by their slim sightlines and modern-style, which are designed for minimum visual distraction.

“In response to the growing modern movement, we spent years exploring how to support the demands of architects, builders and homeowners seeking this simplified design aesthetic,” says Kris Hanson, director of product management at Marvin. “Marvin Modern is the outcome of that research and expanding with these new products further reveals the power of engineering to serve a greater purpose than aesthetics alone – to encourage restoration, create a sense of freedom and support well-being.”

The frames consist of a high-density fiberglass exterior over an aluminum interior, which provide increased durability and energy-efficiency. All Marvin Modern products achieve a low standard U-factor of 0.28 when equipped with low-E2 and Argon gas. The Casement windows and push-out Awning are rated up to PG50, and the crank-out Awning is rated up to PG45/PG50.

The frames are available in ebony, bronze, anodized/silver, gunmetal and stone white finishes, which may be split between the interior and exterior. The Casement and Awning windows offer optional concealed screen frames with highly-transparent mesh. marvin.com
