Schluter System's Kerdi-board doubles as a tile substrate and building panel. Its waterproof foam-core board can be cut with a utility knife and glued over masonry walls, wood, or metal studs. Fleece webbing allows tiles to adhere with thin-set mortar directly to the panels without backer board. Installers can construct straight or curved shower walls, partitions, bathtub platforms, vanities, and countertops.
