Fortress Building Products has launched a new decking profile, the Infinity-I Series, which uses a bamboo capped-composite formulation to provide increased strength, durability and performance.
According to the manufacturer, the new series was created to meet a need for decking boards that could withstand temperature extremes and harsh climates.

The boards feature heightened slip resistance, improved heat dissipation, and higher moisture resistance, brought about by the boards’ engineered profile and density. “The IS Decking Line is engineered to keep moisture out,” Bostwick says. “In a traditional decking line, the board actually absorbs water. By replacing the basic wood fillers with bamboo, along with other advanced engineering techniques, the new Fortress Decking line works to resist moisture.”
