Six Dealers Win ProSales Excellence Awards

Six construction supply companies have won 2010 ProSales Excellence Awards, the most prestigious awards program in the LBM industry, and five more dealers received honorable mentions. Boyce Lumber of Montana and Millard Lumber of Nebraska were honored for their showrooms, American Lumber of New York and Ferguson Enterprises of Virginia won for advertising, TW Perry of Maryland received the price for best use of technology, andf Mathew Hall of Minnesota won for best website. Honorable mentions went to ProBuild, Concord Lumber, Hayward Lumber, Jackson Kitchen Designs (Jackson Lumber) and Legacy Building Specialties. More

Early last year, Wheeler's, a Rome, Ga.?based pro dealer, reorganized its installation department, whose activities generate 20% of the company's annual revenue, "so that we'd be set up more like a builder," says Rick Ariail, Wheeler's director of installed sales.
