AERT Restructuring Trades Debt for Equity

Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. has restructured itself through a deal in which an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital LLC took preferred equity and debt securities in the Arkansas-based building materials make in exchange for extinguishing AERT debts to H.I.G. and investing another $5.5 million into the company. AERT's Net Loss Lightens

Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies (AERT) reported today its net loss improved in the first quarter to $397,000 from $1.6 million in the year-earlier period on a 2% drop in sales to $16.4 million. More
