Your Building Centers (YBC), a dealer and manufacturer based in central Pennsylvania, hired Ted Garrett as the company’s vice president of manufacturing and installed sales. In the role, Garrett will be responsible for the future direction of Your Building Centers’ three manufacturing plants located in Allensville, Pa., Berlin, Pa., and Beech Creek, Pa.
Garrett replaces Tim Leupold, who was recently promoted to the role of YBC president and CEO.
Garrett is a veteran of the lumber and components industry and formerly served as the director of manufacturing at 84 Lumber. The new YBC VP started at 84 Lumber as a manager trainee, before working his way up to management and transitioning into truss manufacturing as a location manager.
With over 35 years of experience in the building materials business, YBC said that Garrett has gained the knowledge and expertise needed to lead its manufacturing division and future growth.
YBC operates 20 locations with 450 associates throughout central Pennsylvania. The company serves contractors, builders, remodelers, and DIYers.
