Tibbetts Lumber promoted David Stauter to the role of president and chief operating officer, effective January 5. The newly appointed COO has served as a Tibbetts senior vice president since 2019.
“It has been an incredible career experience to serve as a senior vice president of the company, and I am tremendously proud of everything we have accomplished together,” Stauter said. “I am extremely thankful for all the support given to me by the entire Tibbetts Lumber team, and I am excited for the great things I know we will accomplish going forward.”
Prior to joining Tibbetts, Stauter held multiple leadership positions with Scotty’s, Cox Lumber, HD Supply, Pro-Build, and Builders FirstSource.
“The board is extremely confident that David is the perfect person to take our company to the next level,” Russ Hallenbeck, vice chairman and CEO of Tibbetts said. “He is a seasoned leader with significant experience and we are blessed to have him as our next president.”
Tibbetts Lumber serves regional and custom/semi-custom builders and remodelers from its Florida locations in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Largo, Ocala, Crystal River, Melbourne, and Fort Myers. The company’s primary business lines include roof and floor trusses, lumber and building materials, windows, and interior and exterior doors.
