The Think Wood Mobile Tour, which launched last month in Washington, D.C., has arrived at the University of Arkansas to showcase the environmental and economic benefits of softwood lumber and engineered wood products. The traveling exhibit includes a variety of elements telling the wood story from the forest to the market, touting the advantages of wood building while dispelling some myths associated with wood as a building material. The University of Arkansas is earning the reputation as a center for design and research in mass timber and wood products. The school recently completed two first-of-their kind mass timber construction projects on campus and has two more projects planned in the near future.
