Tando Composites is expanding its partnership with Parksite to distribute the TandoStone product line within their Maryland and North Carolina distribution markets. The expansion will include the full line of TandoStone, which is designed to replace traditional stone or stone veneer. The manufacturer said the product complements a range of siding materials, including fiber cement, vinyl, stucco, and brick.

“Parksite is the ideal distributor to help bring the advanced composite technology of TandoStone to dealers throughout Maryland and North Carolina,” Michael Morris, senior vice president of sales for Derby Building Products, parent company of Tando Composites, said in a prepared statement. “Their team has the experience and understanding of how to bring high quality, branded products to market as they work tirelessly to add value to their customers’ business.”

TandoStone is available in Stacked Stone and Creek Ledgestone styles, with five colors in each style. The product features TruGrit surface technology to provide the feel of stone with the benefits of composite materials. According to the manufacturer, the product is impervious to moisture and can be installed at ground level, roof line, and in any weather.

“We have long been leaders in the conversion to easier and more authentic looking substitutes to traditional products that offer economical solutions for our LBM dealers,” said Scott Thomas, director of LBM sales for Parksite. “Innovative product lines like TandoStone help our dealers stand out in the marketplace.”
