Family-owned building material center TAL Building Centers named Susan Hoshida as the company’s new chief financial officer. Hoshida brings more than 24 years of experience to the role and most recently served as TAL’s corporate controller. TAL said the appointment of Hoshida is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its leadership team and positioning the company for future growth and success.
“I am honored to step into this role. I look forward to contributing to the company’s success, driving growth, and enhancing value through strategic financial management,” Hoshida said in a prepared statement.
Hoshida succeeds Richard Anderson in the CFO role. Anderson will continue in a senior management role with TAL, contributing to “TAL’s stability and growth under Hoshida’s leadership,” according to the company. Prior to joining TAL, Hoshida held positions at Fred Meyer, CHEF’STORE, and Pacific Seafood.
“Susan’s extensive background in finance and her proven track record of success make her an ideal choice for this critical role,” TAL CEO Jason Blair said in a prepared statement. “Her leadership and strategic vision will be invaluable as TAL continues to grow and evolve.”
