Mass timber manufacturer Structurlam appointed Paul Drace as the company’s new vice president of sales for its construction east division and industrial North America. Drace has experience in the engineered wood industry, having previously worker with major suppliers, including Weyerhaeuser, RedBuilt, and SmartLam.
In his role with Structurlam, Drace will lead construction sales regions to drive sales efforts, promoting and expanding the company’s mass timber work, according to the company.
“With a strong diverse background in engineered wood, PAul will be a tremendous asset to not only our sales team, but for our customer and technical services teams,” Paul Sehn, Structurlam’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, said in a news release. “With Paul joining our sales leadership team, we will be able to bring heightened focus to Structurlam’s growth and advance the mass timber movement across North America.”
Structurlam is a provider of mass timber solutions for construction and industrial markets in Canada and the United States. The company products structural laminated mass timber and industrial products, including CrossLam CLT panels and GlulamPLUS glue-laminated columns and beams. Penticton, British Columbia-based Structurlam operates mass timber production facilities in Penticton, Okanagan Falls, and Oliver, British Columbia in Canada, as well as Conway, Ark.
