Iowa-based dealer Spahn & Rose Lumber named two new leadership appointments: Lori Hoffmann to the new role of vice president of human resources and Ivy Su-Johanson to the role director of purchasing.
“Lori is an excellent addition to Spahn & Rose,” CEO Dave Davis said in a prepared statement. “Lori’s expertise in cultivating positive work environments will be a great addition to our company’s growing needs.”
The company said Hoffmann has experience in human resources consulting, employee relations, employee engagement, and staff retention. She has more than 20 years of human resources experience, having previously served as the executive director of human resources for Buchanan County Health Center.
“I’m excited to join an organization rooted in excellence and commitment to their customers, communities, and employees,” Hoffmann said. “Spahn & Rose has exemplary values and a genuine commitment to foster a culture conducive to supporting its employees. It’s my honor to join Spahn & Rose in their pursuit to build on their history and commit my focus on contributing to their growth.”
Su-Johanson has over 16 years of experience in direct buying opportunities, inventory management, multi location purchasing, and vendor relations. She most recently served as the senior buyer for Theisen’s Home Farm and Auto.
