Forest products and lumber producer Roseburg announced Cybelle White has been promoted to the role of chief of staff. With the appointment, she also will officially join the company’s executive team.

“Cybell for years has served as a defacto chief of staff and member of the executive team—having a seat and voice at the executive table and acting on the CEO’s behalf,” Roseburg president and CEO Stuart Gray said. “Cybell was instrumental in the execution of our CEO transition in 2023.”

In the chief of staff role, White will be responsible for aligning strategic initiatives, fostering communication and quick decision-making, and executing projects on the CEO’s behalf. White will also lead the executive team’s work in board engagement. Roseburg said the purpose of the role is to drive results by strengthening execution, follow-up, and accountability.

“This promotion recognizes the role Cybell plays in our company leadership and positions her for expanded impact across the company,” Gray said.

White first joined Roseburg in 2016 as executive assistant to then-president and CEO Grady Mulbery. In 2022, she was named manager of executive officer and board relations.

Springfield, Ore.-based Roseburg operates mills in western Oregon and sustainability manages approximately 600,000 acres of timberlands.
