- Palmer-Donavin will stock and distribute Westbury Aluminum Railing products in its Diamond Hill Plywood distribution centers in Virginia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas.
- Boise Cascade announced an indefinite curtailment of its lumber production in Chapman, Ala. The plywood operations at the Chapman location are not part of the curtailment.
- Specialty Building Products will expand its distribution partnership with James Hardie Building Products. SBP will now carry the entire range of James Hardie siding and trim products in its Oklahoma City, Kansas City, and St. Louis distribution centers.

- The MITER Foundation, the charitable arm of MITER Brands, a manufacturer of windows and patio doors, hosted its annual two-part golf outing in Hershey, Pa., and Prescott, Ariz. The two events raised a record $4 million combined for charities that include Children’s Flight of Hope.
