Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf issued a mandatory shutdown order for a majority of state businesses in response to the coronavirus. The shutdown impacts a large portion of state construction firms, including specialty contractors, residential construction building companies, nonresidential construction building companies, wood product manufacturing firms, and lumber and other construction wholesale merchant wholesalers in the state. Building material and supply dealers, however, have been deemed essential and are allowed to remain open under the order.
