Tando Composites announced Mid-Cape Home Centers, a division of US LBM, is the flagship dealer in Massachusetts for Beach House Shake. Mid-Cape Home Centers operates six locations in the New England region.
“At Mid-Cape, we have served multiple generation on the Cape and surrounding communities since 1895 and we’re known for supplying natural cedar shingles - part of the beauty and charm of this region,” Jack Stevenson, president of Mid-Cape Home Centers, said in a prepared statement. “For the past several years, the demand for cedar shingles has outpaced the available supply. We’ve been researching alternative options to complement our natural cedar shingle business. It was paramount that the new product protects both the tradition and beauty of the Cape. Beach House Shake is available in four natural cedar shades and the product’s architecturally precise 5-inch re-squared and rebutted lines create unique individual shingles, according to Tando. The manufacturer says the product carries a 20-year limited warranty.
