McCoy’s Building Supply opened its new location in Lockhart, Texas. The new store features 15,000 square feet of inside retail space and a paved, drive-through lumberyard.
“At McCoy’s, we’re proud to be family-owned and operated, and we are honored to be joining the Lockhart community,” Meagan McCoy Jones, president and CEO of McCoy’s Building Supply, said in a prepared statement. “We have so many team members who call Hays and Caldwell counties home. It’s exciting to open a store here and be part of the intentional and thoughtful growth of this special community.”
The Lockhart store is managed by Zach Dauer. He joined the company four years ago and most recently served as the store manager in Duncan, Okla.
“Customers can expect our team to provide exceptional store customer service that is helpful, friendly, and timely, to assist them with all their project needs,” Dauer said.
The Lockhart store carries building materials for a range of projects, as well as home maintenance supplies. The location features six Live Oak trees with 34 additional trees that were planted during construction of the store. A rainwater collection system was also installed on the property, which ties into the irrigation system and is designed to mitigate up to 200,000 gallons of water use annually.
San Marcos, Texas-based McCoy’s Building Supply operates 87 stores, three distribution centers, and two millwork facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
