Sto Corp.

Jose Berlingeri has been named president and CEO of Sto Corp., effective January 1, 2020, replacing the retiring David Boivin.

“The choice to succeed me was easy,” Boivin said in a news release. “Jose built a business in LATAM for Sto from nothing, and showed he was willing to get very granular in how to work with a young, diverse team and provide the leadership and maturity to allow them to run their companies independently. Jose knows Sto culture, its products and its people intimately, and has fantastic leadership instincts.”

Berlingeri brings a bevy of industry experience from both inside and outside the Sto organization. The incoming CEO first joined Sto Corp. in 2010 as the general manager for Latin America, in a role created to facilitate the company’s international expansion in Latin American countries. According to the company, Berlingeri was successful in expanding Sto’s footprint in several international markets during his tenure as general manager.

During his tenure as CEO and president, Boivin led the company’s successful growth in North and South America and oversaw the creation of Sto Panel Technology. Boivin will continue to collaborate with Sto as an independent consultant to Sto Panel Technology, Sto’s division dedicated to insulated, prefabricated wall panels.

Atlanta-based Sto Corp. produces a broad range of cladding, air moisture barrier, and coating systems.
