Chelsea Building Products is partnering with two-step wholesale building materials distributor Rocco Building Supplies, according to a news release. The distributor will offer Chelsea Building Products’ Everlast 6-7/8” plank size in eight colors, plus accessories.
“We see Everlast Advanced Composite Siding as a high-end cladding product that customers will be pleased to have available in our region,” Fontaine Canada, president of Rocco Building Supplies, said in a public statement.
Harrisonburg, Va.-based Rocco Building Supplies services lumber yards, specialty dealers, and home centers in Virginia, the Baltimore metro area, and regions of West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The distributor was founded in 1969 and has steadily increased sales volume since the early 1970s while expanding into new warehouses periodically, most recently in 2016.
Everlast features a CedarTouch natural wood grain texture, which Chelsea Building Products achieves by using the imprint of real cedar board during the manufacturing process. The product offers fade and moisture resistance and features a UV-stable acrylic cap stock that is molecularly-fused to the substrate. Oakmont, Pa.-based Chelsea Building Products has been designing and extruding PVC and composite profiles for the building materials market since 1975.
