Chelsea Building Products

Manufacturer Chelsea Building Products hired Daniel Franklin as the product manager for specialty products. Franklin brings experience in product management, project management, and manufacturing engineering to the role, according to the company.

Franklin has worked in the building products industry for 14 years and previously held positions as a product manager for Deceuninck North America, a product manager for The Tapco Group, and, most recently, as a senior product manager for Boral Building Products. The incoming product manager has worked with staff to develop and launch the Clubhouse cellular decking line and Grayne composite siding line. According to Chelsea Building Products, Franklin has been involved in product design testing, testing product installation, marketing, and product launches in his career.

“Daniel will play a key role on the Everlast siding and specialty products teams,” Gary Hartman, VP of sales and marketing for Chelsea Building Products, said in a news release. “He’s already made an impact within our organization with his comprehensive building products knowledge and industry insight.”

Oakmont, Pa.-based Chelsea Building Products has been designing and extruding PVC and composite profiles for the building materials market since 1975.
