Manufacturers Reserve Supply (MRS) entered a distribution partnership with Advanced Building Products and Tamlyn. Through the partnerships, MRS will serve its customers with a line of weatherization products that meet the latest standards and building codes.

This strategic expansion allows Manufacturers Reserve Supply to offer a comprehensive range of solutions for builders’ projects, all conveniently available under one roof,” the company said in a press release. “With the inclusion of these respected brands, we are further empowering our customers by providing them with a choice of high-quality products that address their specific weatherization needs. This enhanced portfolio solidifies MRS’s commitment to delivering exceptional value, efficient, and convenience to our valued clients.”
Through the partnership with Tamlyn, MRS will distribute TamlynWrap Drainable WRB to its customers. The product features a patented gap design that creates a “true drainage space” between the sheathing and cladding material, according to Tamlyn. Tamlyn CEO and president Miguel Gonzales said the product drains twice as fast as other drainable wraps and has the drying capability of a ⅜ rainscreen.
As part of its agreement with Advanced Building Products, MRS will distribute CedAir-Mat and the Mortairvent Rainscreen. CedAir-Mat is an underlayment for cedar roofs that is designed to protect against moisture and decay. Mortairvent Rainscreen is designed to create a drainage and ventilation cavity between the weather resistant barrier and exterior wall.
