A construction startup in Canada is hoping to revolutionize the construction industry with its low-carbon building material, Western Investor reports. Nexii Building Solutions developed a proprietary building material, Nexii, which could serve as an alternative to cement and concrete and could be used for multiple purposes in buildings, including floors, walls, and roofs. According to the manufacturers the material is waterproof, fire resistant, and has a low carbon intensity.
