
Lumbermens Merchandising Corporation (LMC) appointed Jack Phipps as vice president of technology. In the role, Phipps will be responsible for LMC’s external focus on helping dealers adopt technology, as well as providing leadership and guidance to the company’s internal technology projects.
Phipps joins the company from Recovery Centers of America (RCA), where he served as the vice president of digital health. Phipps was responsible for the digital transformation of the patient and staff experience during the treatment of substance abuse disorder and mental health concerns during his time with RCA. Phipps also worked for U.S. Cellular for 13 years, where he held a range of roles including in technology product development and business development.

LMC is a forest products and building materials buying group owned by independent lumber and building materials dealers. There are over 1,600 LMC dealer locations in the United States and the Bahamas.
