Following the announcement that Dave DeJoy would take over as CEO, LBM Advantage has announced four additional leadership appointments. The New York-based lumber and building materials cooperative said the leadership moves will enhance operational efficiency and support LBM Advantage’s growth initiatives.
Daniel Bricker has been named forest products manager and will oversee both the commodity framing lumber and panel departments in the company’s New Windsor, N.Y., office. LBM Advantage said the transition mirrors the operational structure of its lumber and panel groups across other locations and will ensure consistency and synergy within the organization.
David Merryman has been named national accounts and data operations manager in New Windsor, N.Y. Merryman will collaborate with the IT department to enhance reporting and explore potential system upgrades and will serve as the primary point of contact for forest products national accounts, according to LBM Advantage.
Following the retirement of Grand Rapids, Mich., forest products manager Randy Spriensma on Aug. 2, Keith Gritters will assume the role.
Finally, Justin Smith has been promoted to the role of forest products manager in the Conroe, Texas, office, where he will supervise the administrative support team and traders, according to LBM Advantage. Smith joined LBM Advantage in January 2023 as an SPF trader.
“We are thrilled to welcome Daniel Bricker, Justin Smith, Keith Gritters, and David Merryman into their new roles,” Tim Johnson, vice president of forest products at LBM Advantage, said. “Their extensive experience and proven track records will be invaluable as we continue to drive our strategic initiatives and deliver exceptional value to our members.”
