L&W Supply opened a new location in Portage, Mich. The opening marks the company’s seventh location overall in the state.
The new branch will be managed by Jeffrey Pettit, who joined L&W Supply in 2004. He has held various roles with the building products distributor, including warehouse manager, inside sales associate, and delivery services manager. Prior to his current role, he was a branch manager in Saginaw, Mich.
“By opening this new location, we are reinforcing our commitment to best-in-industry service throughout western Michigan and northern Indiana,” said Great Lakes District Manager Tracy Hein. “The new Portage branch will be a central support hub for customers in Grand Rapids, Jackson, Kalamazoo and South Bend. We look forward to seeing Jeff and his team bring exceptional products and service to the area’s contractors.”
As branch manager, Pettit will be responsible for managing daily branch operations, cultivating customer relationships, guiding associates and executing branch growth and profitability, L&W Supply said.
Chicago-based, L&W Supply, a subsidiary of ABC Supply, distributes wallboard, suspended ceiling systems, steel studs, joint treatment, insulation, fasteners and related building products.
