Amy Warren has joined International Wood Products as vice president of marketing, effective May 28.
“Having worked with Amy in the past, I am excited to welcome her to the IWP team. Amy has earned an excellent and well-deserved reputation in our industry,” IWP president Josh Hamilton said. “IWP’s vision is to be the most trusted brand in building materials distribution, and Amy’s experience, knowledge, and professionalism will be key to achieving that goal.”
She worked for over 20 years at Weyerhaeuser in a variety of roles increasing in responsibility, including sales, product marketing, product and operations management, and marketing communications. As director of business development, Warren contributed to Weyerhaeuser’s strategic expansion and led ten distribution centers throughout the west of the United States.
“I’m looking forward to being part of a growing company like IWP that is laser-focused on building and maintaining incredibly strong customer and vendor relationships, backed by industry-leading service and support,” Warren said.
As a member of IWP’s executive management team, Warren will work with corporate and branch management to provide leadership and support across the United States.
Warren will succeed Edy Schaller in the role. As Schaller prepares for retirement, she will support the transition assuming a new role as senior vice president – special projects to drive key organizational initiatives.
