On April 9th, 2020, the International Code Council is launching the first of a four-part webinar series designed to help building safety professionals adapt to the work challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to a recent ICC survey, 93% of code professionals are continuing to work during the pandemic, many are not able to perform essential duties in a virtual environment alone. In response to this need, the ICC’s webinars will offer guidance and examples for building and fire departments on how to continue to operate, including virtual tools and methods for current and normal operations alike. Participants will be able to earn continuing education units.
“The Code Council is committed to ensuring that building safety professionals around the world are supported during these challenging times,” said Code Council Chief Executive Officer Dominic Sims, CBO. “We offer the resources to assist building and fire departments in the transition to virtual operations, helping these essential professionals elevate and streamline building safety services within the digital landscape in the time of social distancing and into the future.”
The four-part webinar series will run from April 9th to April 21st, 2020. The first webinar on April 9th will run from 3:00-4:00 PM EST, while the rest of the webinars will run from 12:00-1:00 PM EST. Click below to learn more and register:
