PROSALES Survey: Disaster Plans

In a recent PROSALES survey, we asked our readers if their company had a disaster plan currently in place. Here's what they said.

• 33.3% of readers surveyed said that their company did not have a disaster plan in place and had never given much thought to the implementation of one.
• 23.8% of readers surveyed said that their company did not have a disaster plan in place because they did not face any substantial risks.
• 19% of readers surveyed said that their company did have a disaster plan in place and stressed the need to be "prepared for anything" in "this day and age."
• 14.3% of readers surveyed said that their company did not have a disaster plan in place, but were planning on implementing one soon.
• 9.5% of readers surveyed said that their company did have a disaster plan in place because they were headquartered in an "area prone to natural disasters."
