Did you know Congress takes a summer vacation? Summer is the ideal time to catch up with your congressional representatives and let them know how issues such as the death tax or lawsuit abuse impact your business. They will be in their home districts between the party conventions, from approximately July 25 through Sept. 6. (The Democratic National Convention is July 26–Aug. 1 in Boston; the Republican National Convention is Aug. 30–Sept. 4 in New York.) NLBMDA dealers and local associations will be scheduling events with key representatives in districts around the country.
