While the overall price of goods used in residential construction increased in the month of February, prices for gypsum products continued their sharp decline. In its analysis of the Bureau of Labor Statistic’s Producer Price Index, the National Association of Home Builders finds softwood lumber and OSB prices offset the large price decline paid for gypsum products in February.
