Do it Best named four senior leaders to new roles on the Lumber and Building Materials team. The leadership changes better position the division for continued growth and “provide an even higher level of service to their co-op members,” the company stated in a press release.
Todd Hixson will serve as the company’s LBM business development manager, a new position. As the LBM business development manager, he will grow existing member relationships and develop new ones, ultimately helping them grow their businesses and increase their profitability. He previously served as the division manager for lumber and panels.
Josh Ratcliff will move into the role of division manager for lumber and reload operations, where he will leverage his previous experience as the lumber sales and operations manager to head up the purchasing and sales of all dimension lumber products.
Joe Corah will serve as the newly created division manager for panels, distribution and specialty products. Formerly the division manager of building materials purchasing, he will lead the team that purchases and sells panels, treated lumber, and engineered wood products and will be responsible for all distribution partner programs.
Jean Fahy former division manager of building materials sales, will move into the role of division manager of building materials. She has spent the last three years leading the company’s sales efforts for building materials. With this change, she will oversee purchasing and vendor programs for these categories as well as sales.
“We are confident that aligning our management team in this way allows for an increased focus on our strategic growth initiatives,” stated Mike Ter Molen, director of LBM operations. “We are continuing to drive investments in technology and data analytics in order to optimize our vendor partnerships and serve our members even better.”
All role changes are effective immediately.
