SRS Distribution has opened three greenfield branches in Hattiesburg, Miss., Mobile, Ala., and Statesville, N.C. Each of the three locations will carry a full line of residential and commercial roofing products, with a focus on serving professional roofing contractors, remodelers, and builders.
The Hattiesburg, Miss., and Mobile, Ala., branches will operate under the Advanced Building Products brand name. The openings represent SRS’ second Mississippi branch and fourth Alabama location. SRS Distribution’s Statesville, N.C., branch will operate as Superior Distribution and is the third SRS location in the Charlotte metro area. The Statesville branch will focus on servicing customers north of the city, according to SRS.
“We are pleased to announce the opening of three new greenfields across the Southeastern United States,” president and CEO Dan Tinker said in a news release. “The new locations in Hattiesburg and Mobile, as well as the in-fill branch in Charlotte, reflects our focus on strategic growth in both new and existing markets. After opening an SRS record 24 greenfields in fiscal 2019, we look forward to another strong year of activity, supported by a deep pipeline of new target locations.”
McKinney, Texas-based SRS Distribution is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners and Berkshire Partners. The company operates more than 345 locations across 44 states under a family of 34 distinct local brands. The distributor was ranked 7th on the 2019 ProSales 100 list.
