SRS Distribution opened six greenfield locations in Conyers, Ga., Waxahachie, Texas, El Paso, Texas, Grand Junction, Co., Shreveport, La., and Sterling Heights, Mich. Each of the six locations will carry a full line of residential and commercial roofing products, with a focus on serving professional roofing contractors, remodelers, and local homebuilders.
SRS said the greenfield openings reflect the company’s continued focus on expanding its footprint across the country. The distributor said the openings will allow the company to enhance service to existing customers while providing access to new markets in Grand Junction, Shreveport, and El Paso. Greenfields and strategic acquisitions will continue to play an integral role in SRS’ growth plan, according to a news release.

McKinney, Texas-based SRS Distribution is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners and Berkshire Partners. The greenfield openings continue a steady pattern of expansion by SRS Distribution in 2020. SRS also opened three greenfield locations in Mississippi, Alabama, and North Carolina in January. The distributor expanded via two acquisitions in 2020 as well, acquiring three-unit A.L.L. Roofing Materials earlier in July and three-unit Gannon Roofing Supply in February. SRS operates a family of distinct family of local brands encompassing more than 350 locations across 44 states. The company ranked 7th on the 2020 ProSales 100 list.
