SRS Distribution opened three greenfield locations in Delray Beach, Fla., Medina, Minn., and Austin, Texas. Each location will carry a full line of residential and commercial roofing products, and focus on servicing professional roofing contractors, remodelers, and local home builders.
The Delray Beach, Fla., location will do business under the Suncoast Roofers Supply brand and will bridge SRS’s “service gap” between existing West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale locations. The Medina, Minn., location will do business as Contractors Supply, marking the second SRS location in the Minneapolis metro area. The Austin, Texas, location will operate as the 32nd Southern Shingles branch and will complement the existing SRS location in Round Rock, Texas, according to the company.
“We are pleased to announce the opening of three new greenfield locations. The opening of in-fill locations in Austin and Medina allows us to add additional coverage and delivery capacity in both of these vibrant markets,” president and CEO of SRS Dan Tinker said in a prepared statement. “The Delray Beach location is a natural extension of our South Florida operation and marks the fourth branch in the Miami metro area. Each new location represents a thoughtful and planned addition to our legacy platforms as we continue to gain scale in both new and existing markets.”
McKinney, Texas-based SRS Distribution now has more than 260 locations across 44 states, operating under 28 local brands. The distributor was the 9th largest company on the most recent ProSales 100.
The greenfield openings continue a steady stream of facility openings for SRS. The distributor opened locations in Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina in February and also opened three locations in December 2018. SRS Distribution is also growing via acquisitions and acquired AAC Building Materials in February.
