SRS Distribution launched the Roof Hub Desktop at the 2020 International Roofing Expo in Dallas, Texas. The Roof Hub Desktop is the web-based extension of the Roof Hub mobile application, which the distributor launched a year ago. Roof Hub is designed to manage contractor’s material orders with one “easy-to-use” solution, according to the company.
The Roof Hub was built to deliver solutions for contractors’ biggest pain points. The app includes real-time delivery tracking with confirmation photos upon delivery. The desktop version of Roof Hub includes weather alerts, supplier promotion rebate tracking, and a “Need More” function, allowing users to order additional material for an existing project with a few clicks.
“Our focus on customer success drives everything we do. With Roof Hub, we are thrilled to offer our customers a powerful tool that helps them manage their businesses more effectively,” CEO and president Dan Tinker said in a press release.
Roof Hub enables contractors to place orders using smart templates that learn user’s ordering habits. The smart templates are designed to help contractors place orders more quickly with fewer mistakes than traditional ordering methods. The Roof Hub can even tailor recommendations to users based on their manufacturer of choice. With Roof Hub Desktop, office staff members are no longer dependent on information from their field crews, as entire teams have access to the same real-time data, according to SRS.
