Digger Specialties Inc. (DSI), a supplier of aluminum railing in North America, expanded its distribution network with the addition of Sherwood Lumber. Melville, N.Y.-based Sherwood Lumber has been serving the building products industry since 1954 and suppliers more than 2,000 lumberyards throughout the United States with a variety of well-established brands of lumber and building products.
Sherwood Lumber will distribute DSI’s Westbury aluminum railing products in the states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia.
To support sales growth in the northeast and mid-Atlantic markets, DSI recently announced the addition of a new manufacturing facility located in Williamsport, Pa. The new facility is currently under construction with targeted production scheduled to begin during the first half of 2022.

DSI is a manufacturer of aluminum and vinyl railing, aluminum and vinyl fencing, composite, fiberglass, and aluminum architectural columns, gates, and deck and fence lighting.
