Building materials distributor and door fabricator Palmer-Donavin is changing the name of its Seal-Rite Door Division and rebranding its corporate identity. Effective January 1, 2020, Seal-Rite Door will begin operating as Palmer-Donavin.

Palmer-Donavin acquired Seal-Rite Door in 2013, but the companies continued to run as independent businesses. Seal-Rite has provided fabrication and distribution services for custom Therma-Tru Doors in the Midwestern region for nearly 40 years.

“Moving forward, we will operate as two divisions: Palmer-Donavin Building Materials Division and Palmer-Donavin Door Division,” Matt Kaufman, vice president of Palmer-Donavin Door Division said in a public statement. “With both divisions under one name, we can more effectively drive efficiencies and innovation with the goal of making it easier to do business. Changing our name to Palmer-Donavin allows us to build on the century-long legacy it holds and move forward with one mission.”

The company is also rebranding the Palmer-Donavin corporation in the new year, with a new company logo. Both divisions of Palmer-Donavin will be represented under one unified website.

“Our new brand identity is more than just a change on a business card or invoice, it’s the continual commitment to stay relevant, add more value to our partners, and create a platform for growth,” CEO Ron Calhoun said.
