Orgill announced several changes to its executive team, including several promotions and retirements. Effective at the end of 2021, Brett Hammers, who currently serves as Orgill’s executive vice president of sales and purchasing, will retire from day-to-day management.

Hammers, who has served in a variety of positions during his 20-year career with the company, will continue working with the executive team throughout 2022 to ensure a smooth transition in leadership, according to Orgill. Hammers’ responsibilities will be split into purchasing and sales areas. To lead these areas, Orgill’s senior vice president of purchasing Jeff Curler has been promoted to the role of executive vice president of purchasing, and senior vice president of sales David Mobley has been promoted to the role of executive vice president of sales.

“Brett has done an outstanding job preparing Jeff and David for these roles,” Orgill president and CEO Boyden Moore said in a prepared statement. “Restructuring this executive role into two positions will help us better manage our growth in these departments now and in the future. These individuals have a wealth of knowledge and experience at Orgill, and we’re excited to welcome them to the executive team. I am very proud of the strength of this team and am confident in its ability to continue driving success at Orgill.”

With these planned changes Orgill’s executive leadership team will include: president and CEO Boyden Moore, executive vice president of distribution Randy Williams, executive vice president and CFO Eric Divelbiss, executive vice president of retail and president of CNRG John Sieggreen, executive vice president of marketing and communications Greg Stine, executive vice president and chief technology and information officer Marc Hamer, executive vice president of purchasing Jeff Curler, and executive vice president of sales David Mobley.

In addition to Hammers, Collierville, Tenn.-based Orgill announced several other company leaders will be retiring in 2021, including vice president of labor relations and benefits Charlie Epperson, director of corporate group sales Jeff Thomas, and senior vice president of credit Everett Clark.

“These individuals have all helped drive tremendous success at Orgill over the course of their careers,” said Moore. “Their hard work, expertise, and dedication are greatly appreciated by the entire Orgill team. It is long-serving leaders like these who have helped build our success and such a bright future for the company and our customers.”

Additionally, Orgill promoted Jodi Fontana to the role of senior vice president of accounting and controller and Tom Liddy to the role vice president of safety and fleet services.

In the sales department, Orgill will divide its eastern sales territory into two separate regions as a result of recent growth. To accommodate this change, Todd Nowels will assume the newly created role of vice president of dealer sales southeast, Myron Boswell will serve as the vice president of dealer sales northeast, and Frank West will lead Orgill’s corporate sales team as vice president of corporate accounts.

Within the company’s purchasing department, Orgill promoted Lisa Pirtle to the role of vice president of replenishment and vendor support, Alan Shore to the role of director of seasonal merchandise, and Heath Kennedy to the role of director of hardlines merchandise.

The company also named five new directors: Tim Elliot as director of mainframe applications, Tim Bishop as director of mainframe operations, Todd Wallace as director of technology solutions and architecture, Grant Morrow as director of ecommerce, and Tom Fontana as director of credit.
