Starborn Industries entered a partnership with Mid-State Lumber to expand distribution of its fasteners in the Northeast. Mid-State Lumber will stock and distribute Starborn products to complement decking, fascia, and trim products at its Branchburg, N.J., Kingston, Pa., Warwick, N.Y., and Marlborough, Mass., locations
“We are excited to have been selected to distribute Starborn Fastening Systems in all of our branches,” Ken Bernstein, principal at Mid-State Lumber, said in a public statement. “They are an excellent counterpart to our lines of composite decking and PVC trim. Starborn’s quality fasteners play an essential role in maintaining the stability and longevity of these outdoor products,” said Ken Bernstein, principal at Mid-State Lumber.”
The distribution agreement includes Starborn’s Cap-Tor xd, DeckFast Fascia System, Pro Plug System, and Pro Plug for Fascia. The Cap-Tor xd is specifically designed to fasten composite and PVC decking with no pre-drilling, according to Starborn. The DeckFast Fascia System includes a Fascia Tool bit for pre-drilling and countersinking and the washer head color-matched Fascia Screws. The Pro Plug System includes screws, plugs, and Starborn’s PVC/Composite Tool with Auto-Stop while the pro Plug for Fascia includes Starborn’s Fascia Plug Tool bit and washer head screw.
