Manufacturers Reserve Supply (MRS) entered a distribution partnership with Tando, a brand of Derby Building Products. Irvington, N.J.-based MRS will distribute the full line of Tando building products to dealers throughout New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, northern Delaware, Hudson Valley in New York, and northeast Maryland.
“MRS has a demonstrated history of partnering with top brands and successfully bringing them to market with exceptional service and first-class sales and marketing execution,” Michael Morris, vice president of sales at Derby Building Products, said in a news release. “MRS has a deep understanding of the exterior cladding market and, with the addition of TandoStone, Beach House Shake, and TandoShake to their strong portfolio of products, we’re confident our partnership will add value to our dealer and contractor partners in the region.”
As part of the distribution agreement, MRS will carry TandoStone, a composite stone product, offering lightweight and one-person installation. The product permits a siding contractor to install without the need for a mason, allowing the siding installer to capture more “share of wall” while controlling their timeline and project costs, according to Tando.
The company will also distribute Tando’s Beach House Shake, which features a 20-year “Beautiful Freedom Warranty” through its protective Kapguard by Kynar coating.
