L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, appointed Dave Ritchie as the company’s district manager for the Triangle Triad district, covering the Raleigh, Durham, and Winston-Salem metro areas in North Carolina.
Ritchie has 15 years of industry experience and most recently served as the business development manager for North Carolina with L&W Supply. Prior to that role, Ritchie spent 11 years as co-owner of Delta Gypsum, helping the seven-unit drywall specialty dealer grow 500% while adding two greenfield branches and completing an acquisition. Raleigh, N.C.-based Delta Gypsum was acquired by L&W Supply in March.
In the role as district manager of the newly formed Triangle Triad district, Ritchie will be responsible for the management of L&W Supply’s branches throughout central North Carolina, with a focus on developing talent and providing exemplary customer service.
“We could not be happier to add Dave to our team,” Tim Mahaffey, regional vice president for L&W Supply’s southeast region, said in a prepared statement. “Our branches throughout the area will no doubt benefit greatly from Dave’s leadership and experience.”
L&W Supply, a specialty distributor of gypsum wallboards, suspended ceiling tiles, and other interior building materials, operates 175 branches in 25 states. Chicago-based L&W Supply has completed seven greenfield openings and two acquisitions in 2019.
