L&W Supply, a distributor of interior building materials and construction supplies, announced a strategic restructuring of its regional divisions to account for the company’s growth. The distributor also announced corresponding promotions for associates for the new regions and districts.

The restructured L&W Supply regions “will provide even greater for us on the specific needs of customers within them,” according to the company. The distributor reorganized its more than 250 branches into the following regions and districts:

  • North Atlantic region, serving the eastern mountain, New England, NY metro, Mid-Atlantic, and Chesapeake districts
  • Pacific region, serving the northern California, southern California, and mountain west districts
  • South Central region, serving the heartland, red river, Texas, and mid-South districts
  • South Atlantic region, serving the triangle-triad, Carolinas, Georgia, Florida Atlantic, gulf coast, and southeast Florida districts
  • North Central region, serving the northern Plains, Midwest, east central, and Great Lakes districts

“This strategic shift is about aligning L&W Supply’s structure with the ever-evolving market as we grow,” L&W Supply president Dan Piché said in a prepared statement. “The addition of our new North Central region underscores our dedication to providing top-notch service that is catered specifically to the unique needs of our customers.”

In combination with the restructuring, L&W Supply named Mark Woodsum vice president of the North Central region, Evan Jaques manager of the northern plains district, and Nick Makar manager of the Midwest district.

Woodsum has held numerous roles, including as branch manager of the L&W Supply Roselle, Ill. branch, as national metal merchandising manager, as upper Midwest district manager, and as regional business manager.

Jaques joined the company in 2020 as an outside sales representative in West Allis, Wis., and was promoted to the role of branch manager the same year. Makar joined the distributor in 2019 as part of the Accelerated Manager Training program and has worked in various positions throughout L&W Supply’s Illinois branches before becoming Chicago branch manager in 2021.

In the South Central region, Steve Ham has been named manager of the new mid-South district. He has held numerous roles for L&W Supply, including branch manager, regional sales manager, outside sales representative, delivery service manager, and inside sales representative.

In the South Atlantic region, L&W Supply appointed Marcos Ribeiro as the manager of the new southeast Florida district. In the North Atlantic region, Jon Donegan was named manager of the New England district.

Chicago-based L&W Supply distributes wallboard, suspended ceiling systems, steel studs, joint treatment, insulation, fasteners, and related building products. The company, a subsidiary of ABC Supply, operates over 250 branches in 42 states.
