Syracuse, N.Y.-based building materials distributor Erie Materials announced a series of promotions and new hires at the company.
Matt Rudy was named the incoming general manager of Erie Materials’ Auburn, N.Y., location. He will work closely with current general manager Randy Moore to ensure a smooth transition. Rudy joined the company in 2018 as a warehouse manager and previously held other key leadership roles, according to the distributor.
Brian Moran has been named territory manager at the company’s Scranton, Pa., branch. Moran joined Erie Materials in 2012 as a warehouse specialist and was promoted to the role of driver in 2013. In 2015, he was promoted to a role with inside sales.
Erie Materials also promoted Jose Cartagena to the role of inside salesperson in Scranton, Pa. He has worked for the company since 2005 as a driver, dispatcher, and boom operator.
Josh Cady has rejoined the company as an inside salesperson in Binghamton, N.Y.
Mitch DeVito has joined the company as an inside sales staff member in Watertown, N.Y., having most recently worked for another building materials dealer.
Tony DiMassimo has joined the Erie Materials location in Williamsport, Pa., as an inside sales representative, bringing over 15 years of experience to the role.
Finally, Justin Walker has been named warehouse manager at the company’s Syracuse location. He originally joined Erie Materials in 2010 and has worked in the company’s warehouse, as a CDL driver, and a backup dispatcher.
Erie Materials distributes building materials for residential and commercial exteriors, such as roofing, siding, windows, doors, decking, manufactured stone veneer, and gutters. The company serves customers from New York locations in Albany, Auburn, Binghamton, Elmira, Syracuse, Utica, and Watertown and Pennsylvania locations in Scranton and Williamsport.
