Cedar Creek, an Oklahoma-based wholesale building material distributor with 24 locations serving 32 states, announced today that D. Wayne Trousdale has been named its new chief executive officer.
Trousdale joined Cedar Creek in 1985 while still in college and rise in the company ranks since then. He has served as chief operating officer since 2012. Trousdale succeeds Bill Adams, who remains as chairman of the company's board of directors.
Cedar Creek was acquired by Charlesbank Capital Partners in 2010 and has grown markedly since then.
