Cardinal Building Products, a building products distributor based in Leola, Pa., will distribute AGS Stainless’ Cascadia Railing System in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. Cascadia is a stainless steel bar rail system with a price similar to aluminum railing systems designed to install with minimal field modification.
“We’re excited to be able to bring this product to customers in the Mid-Atlantic region,” Rich Hess, general manager of Cardinal Building Products, said in a news release. “Cascadia is a high-quality product that pairs well with our other product lines. Our customers are going to appreciate this system’s marine-grade stainless steel components and its ease of installation, as well as simply having access to a stainless steel railing product that doesn’t require custom design.”
Cascadia Railing System product components are made of durable A316 marine-grade stainless and the system has ICC-ES approval. According to the manufacturer, Cascadia has the design flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of top rail materials.
“Research indicates that homeowners are increasingly interested in higher-quality deck and stair railing products,” Kevin Harris, director of sales and marketing for AGS Stainless, said. “Where a typical stainless railing system might require a number of weeks to complete the entire design, permit, approval, and fabrication and installation process; Cascadia Railing System components are pulled from dealer inventory and they can be installed the very same day.”

Cardinal Building Products has nearly one million square feet of vinyl, composite, and polyethylene decking on site and also distributes vinyl and aluminum railing for residential and commercial decks.
